Your book, in detail

Add your cover, description and purchase link. Optional edition details and personal notes help readers decide whether your cookbook belongs in their kitchen.

Your public profile

Introduce yourself with a photo, short bio and social links. Your profile connects the books assigned to your account with your journal.

Your kitchen stories

Publish book previews, cooking stories and permissioned recipes in your journal. Readers can save your books, follow updates and join the conversation.

From your first draft to a public listing

  1. Create an account, verify your email and confirm your public name and author setting.
  2. Add a book manually or look up an edition with Open Library. Review imported details and confirm that you can share any text or images you use.
  3. Save a private draft, or publish when your title, author credit and description are ready. New books require an all-audiences agreement.
  4. Keep the listing current and use your journal to share the story behind it.

A useful listing answers a reader’s questions

Who is the book for? What equipment will they need? Which recipes would you suggest first? Add your own perspective alongside edition facts. You can fill these in at your own pace.

Listings and promoted placements

You can create and maintain a listing without purchasing a promotion. Published books appear in catalog search and browse; paying for placement does not increase their search relevance.

Current homepage shelves are unpaid featured picks. Paid placements are planned and will be labeled separately. Shelf space is limited. Contact support@cookbook.store to discuss availability. Self-service payment is not available yet. We do not promise sales, search rankings or a particular audience size.

Can I list a book that is not released yet?

Yes. Choose Coming soon, optionally add expected-release text, and use your existing purchase link for preorders. Update availability when the book is released.

Can I send readers to my own shop?

Yes. Use a valid purchase link to your shop or another seller. Buyers complete purchases with that seller; Cookbook.store does not process cookbook orders.

What if my book already has a listing?

Contact support with the listing URL. An administrator can review your request and assign the existing listing to your account. Avoid creating a duplicate.

Are submissions reviewed before publication?

Publishing makes a book public immediately and notifies administrators for review. You can unpublish your own listing. Content must meet our terms; a listing is not an endorsement or verification of every claim.
